How Do I Add A New Step In ClickFunnels?

So you’d like to know “How do I add a new step in ClickFunnels?”

Excellent.

Because in this tutorial post I’m going to show you exactly how to do just that.

And don’t worry…

It’s the easiest thing to do.

So easy?

That you’ll probably laugh when you realize just how easy it is to do.

Let’s dive right in.

So How Do I Add A New Step In ClickFunnels?

First you are going to need to login to ClickFunnels.

Next.

You are going to want to go to the list of your funnels.

  1. Simply hover over the ClickFunnels tab at the top of the page.
  2. And then simply click on the Funnels drop down.

Now that you see the list of your funnels…

Simply click on the funnel that you’d like to add a new step to.

For this example?

I’m going to be using my Done For You Affiliate Funnel (as shown below).

Once you are there?

Here is all you need to do (let’s follow the picture down below).

So allow me to help you out here.

Add the name of the funnel step in the Change Name Of Funnel Step section.

Show In Funnel means do you want it to be seen with all of the major steps?

Or do you want it to be down below with other steps?

Example

If it’s an important part of the funnel like:

  • Optin form.
  • Sales letter.
  • Thank you page.
  • Checkout pages.
  • Membership area.
  • Upsell downsell pages.
  • And so on and so forth.

Then you will probably want to show in funnel.

But if it’s something that’s not all that important in terms of funnel flow like:

  • Support page.
  • Contact page.
  • Privacy policy.
  • Secret discount page.

Then you will probably not want to show in funnel.

Note: You can always change it so it’s not a permanent decision.

And then of course you have the Path section.

This is simply going to be the last part of your URL.

For example.

  • username.clickfunnels.com/yourpathgoeshere

So yeah.

Make that whatever you like (as it also can be changed too).

But in case you’re curious to get more information about the funnel step path URL…

Here is a great quick video that the ClickFunnels team did that you can watch.

And FINALLY…

Make sure you click on the Create Funnel Step button.

And just like that?

You my friend have completed the ClickFunnels add funnel step tutorial 😛

Alright and one more related question.

How Many Steps Can You Have In A Funnel ClickFunnels?

This one I don’t have the exact number for…

But I know that it’s a good amount.

I’ve seen funnels where the steps seemed like they scrolled down forever.

So in my opinion?

Just keep building up your funnel and see where it takes you…

As I imagine you’re probably not going to need 500 steps anyway 😛
